Today on facebook I read a post that said that “I need to stop focusing on how stressed I am and start focusing on how blessed I am.”
And I am truly blessed!

I am thankful for 47 Thanksgivings with my baby brother. And 47 years of great shared memories.

I am grateful that my husband is a pushover!

I am blessed that my chosen vocation allows me to watch things grow.

And my other vocation pleases the palette.

I am blessed with a plethora of critters.

And with my sisters-by-choice who have been there through thick and thin.

Our fearless leader!

I am especially blessed to have grown up when and where I did with the parents I had. (Sorry, Mom, couldn’t find a picture of you!)

I could go on and on. And on. And on. About my friends who keep the ovens full, bows tied, planters planted. About getting to watch the grand children and adopt-a-kids grow up. About the freedoms I am blessed with: choice, religion, job, education. About the gift of God’s Grace.

But I won’t bore you with that. Just know that I know I am blessed. Very blessed. (a bit stressed sometimes, too!)

Just saw this Sonja, what a wonderful blog and I look forward to checking in often. Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas. Each year I think of how much I enjoyed the “season” I worked in your bake shop!
