Sunday Dinner

What a lovely Sunday! Saturday night church allows me to not feel so guilty about being lazy Sunday morning. But I wasn’t totally lazy. I must have had enough lazy days lately that I actually felt like tackling a few projects. And it was about 60 degrees warmer than it was last Sunday! Yes, I said 60 degrees. 32 degrees sure beats 32 degrees below zero with  a 30 mile per hour wind!

Since it was such a nice day, we enjoyed feeding today.

Mark takes the bales down to the southwest corner into a low spot so the horses have protection when the wind howls.

Of course, no one can wait until the strings are off!

“Hey, what are you looking at?”

Ernie got kicked last time we fed and has decided that he prefers feeding from the safety of the Ranger. Wimp.

It rained last night. Rain in January in North Dakota is never a good thing. The ice layer on top of the snow was shiny and very slick!

The every day’ness’ of our days is really what life is all about. Thank you for sharing yours. The snow looks nice for water next year. So many people are already worrying about moisture.

    • Thanks Linda. I’ve been struggling with blogging topics. Nice to be reminded that it doesn’t have to be out of the ordinary to be written about! We are good for moisture. Times have changed a lot. I grew up worrying about moisture. Lately, we’ve had an excess more often than not. But I feel for those who are dry. Our turn will come!
